Building Bridges Events - Last Chance!

Hello all

Please would you promote – and come to – these last events for the Building Bridges initiative this year. Thanks to everyone who ran events for Thanet Multicultural Festival and got involved, it has been a great success. Hopefully we will all want to do it again next year.

Sunday 4th July 5 - 8pm
Sheree Bell, former owner & Chef of London Vegetarian eaterie 'Hollyhocks' (featured in Time Out Eating & Drinking Guide, The Independent, The Evening Standard & The Guardian), invites you to a cookery demonstration and tasting at her home in Ramsgate. Sheree will open her kitchen to 6 guests who will share in the preparation and eating of a hot and cold buffet of vegetarian and vegan food from a global menu.

Ugandan singing & dance workshop
In conjunction with Building Bridges, Pedson will be delivering a singing & dance workshop, teaching about Ugandan tradition and culture whilst giving you the chance to play the drums Ugandan style!
Suitable for all ages and FREE! Just turn up on the day.
This event is followed, in the evening, by another chance to see Pedson at The Pharmacy Gallery, Margate Old Town where he will play a diverse range of instruments including the Ugandan Harp, violin, lyre, drums, xylophone and thumb piano.  20.00 - 23.00pm
